INDY....

Another 10 hour drive.... It went very well and we had a lot of fun! We didn't have a lot of time to do anything but stay at the track, but that was a lot of fun! We saw huge strides in Gavin's driving and all and all I think it was  a great trip! The last one of the summer!

Here is Gavin and his best bud Neal. It was EARLY and we were at the first drivers meeting of the trip... Did I mention it was EARLY.....

Here is Gavin going out for practice. There were a lot of  cars in Jr. Honda. Gavin had a great trip! He made it from the C to the B and though he didn't make the A the growth was amazing! I can't wait to see how he will to tomorrow at our home track!!

We went to watch the midget race on Wednesday night and Gavin got to go on the track and sit in some of the midget cars! He looked so small inside those cars, yet you only have to be 12 to drive one! It was super hot, but we had a good time.

We also were able to get up close to some REAL Indy cars. To hear them go around the track was crazy! The car pictured actually led the Indy 500 before being changed to a car that would hold a passenger for ride alongs! Very cool!!!

This pic just makes me laugh. Papi said we HAD to go to White Castle and Gav made sure we did!! We even went 10 miles out of the way on a wild goose chase to find one!!

Once we finally got there Gav ordered ONE burger... ONE.... If you know anything about White Castle you know the burgers are TINY! Too funny!

What a cool kid and a great trip! Go GAVIN Go!!!
