Though Gavin didn't make the A Main here in Disney it was not for lack of effort. Gavin started as the "0" car and had to pass 6 cars to make it to the B... He spun once, thus had to go to the back... He then got up to 6th and another car spun him and he and that car had to go to the back... by this time there was not enough laps left to make it to the front, but he did manage to get from last to 6th! We are so proud of Gavin. It was 100 degrees and he was in his full gear. I packed an ice pack in his suit and that helped, but boy was it hot!! All was not lost though! He is one of 100 kids in the ENTIRE NATION that has EVER raced at DISNEY WORLD!!! We are proud of you GAV!
They rest of the trip to Disney has been a blast so far! We are off to Magic Kingdom today! We are also taking Papi for the Richard Petty Driving Experience for Father's Day! GO PAPI!!!!
