So we had a good finish this weekend and have even managed to get hours of practice in today alone!!
Gavin qualified 4th, but they invert the field so that got him on the pole... Shew, were we nervous and hopeful! He has improved his line a ton, but is still learning about traffic and how that goes... He came out with a third place finish, got spun out by a kid that was flying and managed to get his new friend Madeline airborne!! Shew, all in a driver's day!!!
The top pic was taken by the track photographer. Gavin had finished his race and we were watching the next class and chatting. Shew, that boy is ME! Could EAT HIM UP!!
The pic to the left is Gavin looking like a driver!! He was sitting on the bleachers between qualifying and his race. Too cute not to post!!
The pic to the right is Gavin and Madeline... Yes, Madeline.. She too is a driver!! She and Gavin have become fast friends and if you are looking for one you will quickly find the other around the track. One of the many new friends he and Blaine have made, have to say that this one always puts a smile on Gav's face!
