eekend was Gavin's first ever Quarter Midget race. He had batch qualifying and qualified 2nd out of 4. He then got into the race and because it was so cold they got a 30 second warm up... Well Gavin jumped right out in front and we were so excited we couldn't see straight!!!
Well they had to throw the yellow and line up double file... so he did great getting lined up and away we went... It was 20 laps and Gavin did an excellent job of holding his own. He never could catch the first place car, but got really close. First race ever in Quarter Midgets, we will take a second place!!! So proud of him!!!
I caught this picture when Gavin wasn't looking at me...I got 3 of them and they are all really good. Shew, that is a good looking little man!! Doesn't he just look like a driver!!
